- Single Stop + Counseling Center: QCC is fortunate to have a Counseling Center with highly trained, caring, and experienced counselors available to assist students with a wide variety of concerns. If you would like to speak with a counselor, please drop by Lib-422 or visit their website. Single Stop offers students benefits screenings, financial counseling, legal aid, and free tax preparation services. Single Stop is located in Lib-440. Visit their website:
- QCC Food Pantry: QCC has a food pantry available for members of the college community who are in need. It’s located in the Student Union (SU-115), and has different open hours each weekday. Please email Dorith Brodbar (dbrodbar@qcc.cuny.edu) or Jun Shin (jshin@qcc.cuny.edu) to ask about opening times or an appointment. Students facing issues related to immediate or prolonged food insecurity are also encouraged to visit Single Stop, Lib-440.
- Disability Accommodations: Any student who feels that they may need an accommodation based upon the impact of a disability should contact me privately to discuss specific needs. Please also contact the office of Services for Students with Disabilities in the Sciences Building, Room 132 (718 631 6257) to coordinate guaranteed accommodations for students with documented disabilities.
- Health Services: The Health Services Center is located in MC-02 and they can be visited in the event of a health related incident on campus, health screening and counseling. They should also be consulted for excused medical absences or medical withdrawal.
